1. Dr. Krishila Basil cares immensely about students’ welfare in MMMC and loves to be at service to everyone. From 2015 to 2016, she was the exco of MMMC’s student council. She subsequently became the secretary in the next tenure and later on the president. During her tenureship, she carried out and participated in a total of 55 events comprising of sports, cultural & community together with the student council team. Other than that, she also helped raise RM10,000 for the National Cancer Society of Malaysia through Manipal Run For Life 2018 as the organizer. Besides being active in her university, she has also been a classical dancer since the age of 7. She had been involved in anything that spelled culture, be it classical or modern throughout her 5 years in university.

2. Nicholas Tan is currently the president of Asia Pacific Dental Students Association (APDSA) Malaysian Division. He is actively involved in many associations outside of his university. He was formerly MMMC's university representative in MDSA, where he is currently appointed as the auditor. His accomplishments includes hosting NDSSC’s Gala Dinner in 2018 and organizing clinical exchange programs in MMMC for international dental students from Jordan, Czech Republic and Slovakia.

3. Other than being a high- achiever academically, Yu Xuan performs equally as well in extra- curricular activities. She enjoys singing and playing piano and has won several awards in MMMC's inter- batch singing competitions. She is a versatile singer and feels comfortable singing songs of different Genres.

Yu Xuan is also a talented calligrapher. She started learning Chinese calligraphy when she was in Standard 1 and has won numerous prizes ever since. Her most noted achievement was when she won second place in the National Calligraphy Competition organized by Malaysian Feng Chia University Alumni Association in 2012. As a reward, she got to represent Malaysia to visit Feng Chia University in a fully subsidized trip. She still practices calligraphy every now and then and does not plan to stop!

4. Liang Kai Yuan was a class representative in his second year in MMMC and is currently one of the committee members of MMMC Student Council. By liaising with lecturers and students, he has acquired good interpersonal skills that will serve as priceless assets in the future. He also finds joy in working with a team that is dedicated to making a positive change within the student community.

Whenever Kai Yuan needs to channel his emotions, he resorts to playing musical instruments. He grew up learning several musical instruments and had performed with a few orchestras where he met great friends. For him, music played a massive role in shaping him into the person that he is today. He also cites photography as a way to express his thoughts and emotions. He loves to experiment with different settings and angles when he photographs, and he also loves the fact that the process of creating a breathtaking image involves the interaction of many components.

5. Mohamad Nazriq bin Abu Bakar is currently the vice president of MMMC Student Council. His love for sports knows no bounds. As far as he can remember, he has always been actively involved in varsity sports events ever since he started attending university. In addition to that, he played for MMMC in the 2015 International Football Tournament in Manipal, India in which they were the champion. He channeled his passion towards football into forming MMMC’s Tiger FC. Other than football, he also plays volleyball, rugby and sepak takraw.

6. Shenali Silva is an outstandingly hardworking dental student. Her enthusiasm towards dentistry led her to many glorious achievements in academics. Other than being a high achiever in her university, she is also passionate about modelling. She modelled for a charity fashion show organized by the Lions Club of Sri Lanka, District of Colombo. She also took part in an Inter-University Fashion Show most famously known as Utsav, as well as other college fashion shows. Albeit not an expert, she loves to cook, bake, and make desserts during her free time.
