Serve for Smiles, A collaboration between MDSA and APDSA MD

On 5th June 2021, a collaboration between Malaysian Dental Students’ Association (MDSA) and Asia Pacific Dental Students Association, Malaysian Division (APDSA MD) had organized a virtual community project, Serve for Smiles, in collaboration with Junior Chamber International Kuala Lumpur West (JCI KL West).  Due to the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, significant adjustments are needed to deliver effective oral health education safely, especially in volunteer engagement without increasing the risk of transmission of the virus to the vulnerable. 

With the fund raised from our previous collaboration in Weekend Online Webinar (WOW), we aim to promote oral health awareness and provide assistance to the underprivileged communities in Kuala Lumpur by empowering the caregivers with the correct oral hygiene practices and dietary advice via the Google Meet platform.
