National Dental Intervarsity Games (NDIVG) 2019

On 6th and 7th April 2019, the 13th National Dental Intervarsity Games (NDIVG) was successfully organised by the International Medical University (IMU) in collaboration with the Malaysian Dental Students’ Association (MDSA). This year, NDIVG was held at Universiti Malaya Sports Centre. We have received an overwhelming response of 999 participants from all 13 dental universities in Malaysia who took part in the games this year, making it the highest number of participants in the history of NDIVG so far!

A total of 10 games were contested in this year’s games with the addition of swimming and tug of war! Food carnival was also held for participants and supporters to purchase snacks amidst the games.

Closing ceremony and prize giving ceremony was held on Sunday. Best sportsman was awarded to Ding Zhi Hao from MAHSA and best sportswoman was awarded to Ooi Yei Kie from MAHSA. MAHSA university emerged as overall champions of NDIVG 2019, followed by PIDC as first runner-ups and USM as 2nd runner-ups. We look forward to NDIVG 2020 at MAHSA next year!
