Mouth Cancer Awareness Week Walkathon 2019

On 17th November 2019, the Mouth Cancer Awareness Week Walkathon 2019 was successfully organised with a great turnout from the public as we raise mouth cancer awareness together!

The flag off and opening ceremony was officiated by the Principal Director of Oral Health, YB Dr. Doreyat bin Jemun. Plaques were presented to the oral cancer warriors who joined us on that day. Cash prizes were presented by Dr. Doreyat and Miss Mei Ng from Top Glove to the winners of the MCAW Poster and Colouring Competition organised by MDSA.

MDSA has also organised the children’s educational booth which included colouring booth, nutrition and oral health education. Various activities were also held such as zumba session, mouth cancer educational booths, mobile dental screening bus, photo booths and milo trucks!

Congratulations to OCRCC, KKM, organisations and universities involved for contributing to the success of MCAW 2019. We look forward to working together again for MCAW 2020!
