Leadership Training 2.0

On 12-13th October 2019, MDSA has successfully organised the 2nd Leadership Training at Semenyih Ecoventure Resort, with a total of 88 dental student leaders from different universities in Malaysia who participated in the camp! Throughout the 2 days, the participants have bonded through ice-breaking games as well as teambuilding games organised by the resort. We have witnessed the utmost teamwork and perseverance during the camp when the participants braved through the mud challenge despite the heavy downpour! We have also enjoyed the campfire session while roasting marshmallows, followed by a sharing session by each university representative on the activities conducted by their dental societies. On the 2nd day, the participants attended an interactive leadership workshop conducted by Miss Suba and also engage in an active discussion with our experienced board of panelists on current topics relevant in dentistry such as quackery in dentistry, dental advertising, ethics and professionalism and also future trends in dental education and dental practice. 13th October 2019 also marked an important event with the signing of MOU between the Malaysian Dental Association (MDA) and MDSA to bring in more benefits for our MDSA Privileged Members! We hope that the participants have enjoyed themselves and gained some insights from the camp!
