1. Ong Kah Shin has always been known for her sociable personality. In 2016, she was the moderator for National Dental Symposium during the “Dental Undergraduate Survival Kit” and emcee for International Dental Physiology Quiz.
She believes in always refining her public-speaking skills through active participation in various platforms. In 2011, she won best Public Speaker of Zone A in an Interschool Malay Public Speaking Competition. She is active in Malaysian Dental Association Toastmasters Club (MDA TMC) and is the current Serjeant-at-arms of MDA TMC.
This public speaker is very multi-faceted. She is also great at debating, hosting and broadcasting! Recently, she won third place in Malaysian Dental Inter-varsity Debate Competition. In 2017, she was selected the campus broadcaster for NTV 7 & 8TV! She had the pleasure of being trained professionally in hosting and broadcasting at the TV station. In 2018, Kah Shin was invited to 988 FM Radio Broadcasting Studio to share her experience on her university life.
That’s not all, in 2015, she worked as a Gen journalist for The Sun Daily Mail. She was also a student reporter for Sin Chew Jit Poh and was involved in the editorial board for IndiDent - UM’s dental magazine. Her talent in effectively communicating information to the readers got her to publish few articles in local chinese and english newspapers.
Drawing is also one of her loves. She has won First Runner Up in Rangoli Competition in National Dental Students Scientific Conference 2018 , third place in DenSoc Art Competition 2017 and Champion in Future Transportation Creative Art Drawing Competition 2012.

2. Ooi Kok Yong is the current Densoc President of University of Malaya. He is active in sports such as basketball, netball, volleyball and so on. He has witty ideas and a creative mind. Apart from these, he is always on the lookout for new things to be explored too.
A keen eye for good-looking angles is his key to perfect photography. Kok Yong has won a few prizes for his masterpiece. He joined Sony's world photography competition in 2015 and his image was commended under the youth competition, with "culture" as the theme. In 2018, he was top 100 in Fujifilm’s ‘Shoot.Print.Share’.

3. Heng Wei Sheng is someone that many would consider the definition of tall, dark and handsome. Other than being sporty and adventurous, he often pushes his limits by actively participating in volleyball, which he started playing since he was in primary school. He participated in the MASUM games with the UM Volleyball team and even went for the 26th Biennial Intervarsity Games in Hong Kong in 2015.
In 2017 and 2018, his team managed to win 3rd place and 1st place for men’s volleyball during the National Dental Intervarsity Games. In 2015 and 2016, Wei Sheng was the vice-president of UM DENSOC. He was also the DENSOC’s Sports Executive in 2014.
Besides that, this athlete is passionate about dancing and acting as it ignites joy within him and gives him confidence. 4. Andrew Lim Kai Xuen’s passion towards performing arts goes beyond description. In 2015, he performed for World Oral Health Day in Kuala Lumpur and was also the performance director of the Annual Dental Night. As the performance director, he was tasked to lead a dental dance team.
In 2017 for MDASCATE, he performed along with Violette Ong. He sang while she played piano as accompaniment. Andrew also was involved in The Short+Sweet Musicals in 2015 as an actor cum keyboardist and later in 2017 as a keyboardist at The Kuala Lumpur Performing Art Centre (KLPAC).He has led numerous dance teams in their choreography in UM. Besides that, he was one of the choreographers incharge for ‘XDChipmunks’ dance crew. His crew performed for Yayasan Sime Darby’s Art Festival 2018 in KLPAC. Andrew also acted in Pesta Tanglung UM in 2017. He was also recently recruited as a keyboardist/pianist in a newly-formed band : Archipelasion.
