“ Working With A Non-Compliant patient "

When patient give excuses on not showing up for the first time, dental students can expect his non compliant behaviour for further appointments. 

It may be due to the fear or lack of confidence with us students , or else the patient is really taking it for granted as we are doing it for them for free.

Some patients started to become more and more non compliant as time goes by, especially after we successfully ease their pain, which is the reason why they visited us in the first place.

So, anyone here have an experience of working with a non-compliant patient ?
