MDIDC and Mentorship programme

The MDA-MDSA mentorship programme was held during the recent SCATE 2020 which garnered an overwhelming response of 108 mentees who participated in the programme this year! MDSA has organised the ice-breaking games to create a platform for the mentees to connect and foster network among each other. We hope that the mentees have benefited from the programme and gained valuable knowledge from their mentors.

The Malaysian Dental Intervarsity Debate Competition was also successfully organised during SCATE 2020 in collaboration with MDA toastmasters. A total of 11 teams participated this year in the running for the championship trophy.

We would like to extend our heartiest congratulations to all the winners:

Champion: Lincoln University College (LUC)

1st runner up: Penang International Dental College (PIDC)

2nd runner up: SEGi University

Best speaker: Ms. Amalia Aqilah binti Abdul Aziz (PIDC)

Most popular speaker: Ms. Nur Amalia Efika binti Abd Aziz (SEGi)

We hope that all the participants have gained insights from the debate and constructive feedback from the judges. We look forward to seeing you participating next year!

Last but not least, we would like to congratulate the SCATE committee from Malaysian Dental Association (MDA) for yet another successfully organised conference!
