3M South East Asian Dental University Championship 2019

On 25th and 26th July 2019, MDSA is honoured to be the supporting partner of the inaugural 3M South East Asian Dental University Championship! We are extremely proud that Malaysia hosted this prestigious competition this year. A gala dinner was held on the first day which was attended by 3M officials, Key Opinion Leaders, local and international participants. It was a fun-filled night with friends reuniting and new friendships forged through the ice breaking and cultural games specially planned by MDSA. The much awaited 3M SEA dental university championship commenced the next day which started off with a short lecture on Style Italiano given by Dr. Army Empol, 3M Key Opinion Leader. It was a gruelling and intense competition as participants put their best foot forward in completing the Class IV composite restoration in over an hour! We would like to express our appreciation to our judges, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lim Tong Wah, Dr. Army Empol and Dr. Nazli Haffiz. Congratulations to all the winners! Winners of 3M SEA dental university championship: Champion: Thanut Limpanasuttipong from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand 1st runner up: Albert Sandjaya Putra from Universities Gajah Mada, Indonesia 2nd runner up: Daniel Louise Puspos from Centro Escolar University, Philippines Winner of #3MSEADentalUniChamp social media competition: Daniel Louise Puspos from Philippines Last but not least, we would like to extend our appreciation to @3moralcare_my for organising and sponsoring this event without whom, this event would not be a resounding success.
