National Dental Intervarsity Games 2018

The National Dental Intervarsity Games is an annual competitive sports event which is held by the Malaysian Dental Students’ Association (MDSA) which involves all students from dental faculties in IPTAs and IPTSs throughout Malaysia. This event is brought about by MDSA’s goal of establishing social interaction and promoting friendship between dental students of all universities in Malaysia through healthy activities. Every year this event is participated by 13 dental faculties from different universities across Malaysia, with an additional of 4 dental faculties from universities in Indonesia this year, making it a total of 17 teams who are up for the challenge. National Dental Intervarsity Games involve various sport events including futsal, badminton, volleyball, netball, track & field events, marathon, ultimate frisbee, squash and basketball.

This year, it was held on 7th and 8th of April 2018, at UiTM Puncak Alam & UiTM Sungai Buloh, organized by Malaysian Dental Students’ Association (MDSA) in collaboration with UiTM Dental Students’ Association (DENSA).

The overall winners for NDIVG 2018 were:

• 1st place : USM

• 1st runner up : PIDC

• 2nd runner up : UITM and AIMST

After the announcement of overall winner, it was a closing remark for NDIVG 2018. The closing ceremony was ended by the passing of flag to the next organizer for NDIVG 2019 which is Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM).
